Today, Tuesday is Homemade Bread Day: A day for the family to remember and enjoy the making, baking, and eating of homemade bread. You know, there is nothing like the smell and taste of fresh, hot homemade bread coming out of the oven.

I can remember coming home from school, get off the school bus and walk into the house and getting hit with the aroma of the fresh baked bread coming from the oven. Between my Dad, my “little” brother and myself that loaf of bread never ever made it to the dinner table. Then my Mom got wise and made two loaves, the first loaf was made earlier in the day, and the last loaf was coming out of the oven as we came into the house from school. Now I’m going to have to look though my Mom’s recipies on how to make her bread. Winfred
