The funeral plans for Michael Jackson’s keep changing. The latest today is that the public memorial at his Neverland Ranch is off, and a public memorial in Los Angeles is now on tap for Tuesday. I’m sure there’s more to come.

Good news everyone — George Clooney is alive and well … just like Jeff Goldblum and Natalie Portman. With the rash of actual celebrity deaths in the last few weeks, “death pranks” are at an all-time high — but the people who are starting these terrible lies … they’re still the lowest of the low.
This story is still developing but it sources say Michael Jackson’s body is set to be driven to Neverland Ranch late Thursday morning. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ upwards of a 30 car motorcade — including Jackson’s body — will be traveling from Los Angeles to Neverland. Law enforcement is currently meeting to discuss security and traffic control. Our sources say plans are in the works for a public viewing to take place on Friday and possibly Saturday. Last week the entertainment world lost 2 icons: Farrah Fawcett, who was just 62. And then Michael Jackson at 50. Yesterday TV pitchman Billy Mays died. He was also 50. He was know for pitching tons of As Seen On TV products like Orange Glo and OxiClean, and Sham Wow. Mays was pronounced dead Sunday morning after being found by his wife at home. It wasn’t clear how Mays died, but he had said he hit his head when an airplane he was on made a rough landing Saturday. His wife Deborah said he didn’t feel well before he went to bed that night… Mays was also featured on the reality TV show Pitchmen on the Discovery Channel,
A private funeral service will be held Tuesday for Farrah Fawcett at the Cathedral of Our lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. Church officials say the service is set for 4 p.m. Fawcett died Thursday from a rare cancer.
Screen legend Elizabeth Taylor collapsed in her Hollywood home after hearing about her dear friend Michael Jackson’s sudden death on Thursday. Taylor - who coined the phrase King of Pop as she presented him with an award in 1989 - was visited at her home by a personal physician in the hours following Jackson’s death. She has now overcome her medical scare and issued an emotional message, revealing she was due to visit Jackson in a few short weeks as he prepared for his comeback concerts in London.
An apparent “secret library” of songs that Michael Jackson recorded for his children could be released now that he’s gone. Jackson’s three kids are currently in the custody of his mom, Katherine.

Sanford said yesterday that he thought of resigning, but he’s decided to serve the last 18 months of his term.

During a visit to a Chicago restaurant, Johnny Depp brought joy to one unsuspecting waiter with a reported sizable tip of over 4000 dollars! The waiter had taken care of Depp and his rather large group well into the wee hours and the star wanted to make sure he was well compensated for his time.
T-M-Z is reporting that the end is near for Farrah Fawcett. Reports say family members are gathering at her hospital bedside to say their final farewells. Farrah has been battling cancer for 3 years.
We’re getting a bit of a break from Jon and Kate. T-L-C has announced that Jon and Kate Plus Eight is going on hiatus following the announcement that the couple is splitting up.
Meanwhile, Monday’s show drew record ratings — 10-point-six-million viewers tuned in to the one-hour divorce episode.

Simon Cowell admits he’s “made mistakes” while managing Susan Boyle’s meteoric rise to fame. Days after her Simon wrote an editorial in the British tabloid. “Looking back on it all, it has become clear to me that we didn’t handle the situation with Susan as well as we could have. And when Boyle lost to the dance troupe Diversity on Britain’s Got Talent, Simon writes, “I looked over at her face and thought — realized that she didn’t know how to deal with not winning.’ It was a bad moment.”
